The Y is a staple in the community and Blocker YMCA has lots of great equipment, classes and knowledgeable staff. I love the fitquest areas and outdoor yard for tire flipping and battle ropes. The pool and hot tub and well managed and accessible. I love to finish up a workout in the sauna or steam room.

I love Everything about this Y except the parking. I wish there was more free parking. This might be the only Y with free towels to use while there.

Parking parking parking 😏 I go to Greenbrier family on a regular basis but I enjoyed visiting Blocker today.

I will start with the cons..the parking omg..I hate it. They definitely can improve in this area. Also I'm not a big fan of construction as there is always some going on in this area. Also traffic may sometimes be a worry but it's convenient for those already residing nearby. They offer childcare, have swimming pool, fitness classes, gym area. Never experienced any issues while here and staff is friendly. Loved it but for those reasons above I had to switch.

The downtown Y is accessible on the Tide. They have modern fitness equipment and I like fitquest program for motivation. The pool needs to be cleaned and repainted.

Nice facility with a variety of equipment and exercise options. The pool needs some maintenance. The location doesn't offer much space. I rarely go here I always go to the one on Granby.

I like while I'm getting a workout my kids can have a good time as well!!!!

I love the Blocker YMCA!!! It is a wonderful family oriented place!!! Also, Blocker has a lot of sports activities for the children. Lastly, it is a safe environment!

Nice gym. Indoor heated pool. Swim lessons are offered here. Towel service and daycare provided. Excellent play for birthday parties too.
