Great Discovery
I never knew about this place until my family told me about it (they were really into finding different places to walk). It was great because it's less than 5 minutes away from our place. It's an awesome alternative for when I don't want to drive all the way to Mt Trashmore for a run. I've always seen the lake while driving down Shore Dr, but I never realized it was an actual park. When I was training for races earlier this year, I did a lot of it here. I loved it because the trees provided shade from the sun. I've seen many people do a lot of activities in the water such as kayaking. There's also a few overlook platforms for people to just enjoy the view. There's also a picnic and playground. Great place to check out!

Small parking area with a boat ramp and a separate kayak launch. playground is further down Shell Rd.
